What do our patients have to say about us?
“For anyone looking to improve their golf game, longevity and enhance an active lifestyle, I highly recommend making time for a consult with Dr Wood and his team at AZ Sports Chiropractic and Wellness Center to discuss how they may be able to help you build a program designed specifically for you to increase performance, reduce future injury risk and improve overall health through balance, alignment, flexibility, and nutrition.
As a former professional golfer that traveled the world and now in business that has me on planes, driving and spending hours at my laptop, I have seen huge improvements from working with Dr. Wood through the multiple holistic techniques he combines to help his clients. I’ve worked with no less than 100 PTs and Chiropractors through my career and Dr. Woods is simply the best.”
“I met Dr. Wood several years ago after he successfully treated one of my players for an elbow and shoulder injury. I was surprised since the player hadn’t progressed with physical therapy. I met with Dr. Wood and we discussed his philosophy on treating certain sports injuries that I had run across in my career as a Division I pitcher and subsequently as a coach. Since that time, I have sent many of my players in need of care to Dr. Wood. I have the utmost confidence in his abilities and know that they will receive the best care possible. Currently, our High School team is ranked #1 in the state.”
“As a runner, I was devastated when I thought I was sidelined by plantar fasciitis. I tried literally everything anyone suggested to relieve the pain, but nothing helped.
I was so happy to find Dr. Wood at Arizona Sports Chiropractic & Wellness. Dr. Wood treated the immediate pain with dry needling. Just a few sessions and I was running again!
Beyond being back on the trail right away, I’m continuing to work with Dr. Wood and his team to treat the cause of the plantar fasciitis to prevent future injury and make me a better, more efficient (and hopefully faster!) runner.
I cannot say enough good things about Arizona Sports Chiropractic & Wellness. Thank you!”
“For seven months, I could not play golf without experiencing pain in my left arm. When I moved to Arizona, I decided to visit Dr. Wood and his team at Arizona Sports Chiropractic and Wellness. They have completely changed the way I take care of myself and my body and have given me the knowledge to understand how my body works. Three months later, I am finally back playing golf full time and pain-free!”
“I have seen Dr. Wood for spinal maintenance for the past 8 years. When I was forced to have shoulder surgery a while ago, I instructed my surgeon, Dr. Michael Lee, that I wanted and trusted Dr. Wood to perform my rehab. Dr. Lee agreed, stating that he had a number of patients that Dr. Wood had worked on, all achieving a successful outcome. My rehab went very well and since that time Dr. Wood has successfully gotten me through two subsequent surgeries from other injuries. I have and will continue to refer patients to Dr. Wood for treatment of any sports injuries.”
“I have known and been referring patients to Dr. Wood for over 12 years. At the time we met, we had a mutual patient who raved about Dr. Wood. I met him and the more we talked, the more I was impressed with his integrated approach, combining Chiropractic, sports medicine, and rehabilitation. Until then, the only Chiropractors I had known only performed manipulation, occasionally with superficial modalities. I feel this integrated approach has improved patient outcomes and definitely increased patient satisfaction.”
“Being an Ex NBA player and now confined to a wheelchair for the past 15 years, my body has been through a lot. I don’t know if I could survive without Dr. Wood’s treatment. I have always been an advocate of Chiropractic care, but the help I’ve received since my confinement makes me wish I had taken more advantage of this healing art while I was playing.”
“A couple of years ago I was in so much pain that I thought for sure I would be undergoing surgery on my knee. My father in law had seen Dr. Wood a few years earlier and I raved about his practice and procedures. I decided to “give it a shot” to see if they could help. During my consultation, Dr. Wood told me that I may need surgery but to give him at least two weeks of therapy to see if we could relieve the pain. His method of aligning the body kind of made sense to me but I really didn’t understand how my hips and upper back could make my knee hurt. For me, I felt I had nothing to lose by following his exercises and plan for wellness, so I bought it. After just a couple of treatments, I began to feel better. When I completed the two weeks, I was pain-free and have never looked back. Another thing that I really like is that he never tried to persuade me to take more sessions than I needed. When I felt better, I reduced treatments after a couple of months backed down to a “maintenance” program to keep myself in alignment.
I cannot thank, or recommend highly enough, Dr. Wood and his staff enough for their professionalism and knowledge.”

“I have seen Dr. Wood for a number of years for the treatment of chronic back pain. After arthroscopic shoulder surgery, my Orthopedist sent me to physical therapy. After several months of rehab and no improvement in my shoulder, I was forced to have another surgery, which did not make me very happy. After surgery, I refused my doctor’s request to return to physical therapy, opting to see Dr. Wood for the rehab. It went very well and the doctor was amazed at the speed of my recovery. Since that time, Dr. Wood has treated me for three other surgeries; the other shoulder, and one on each knee, all with positive outcomes. As a former professional baseball player, I appreciate Dr. Wood’s approach and attention to detail in these matters.”
